SERVICE SUPPORT - BARISTA (Events)

Basic Function

  • Prepare and serve drinks / food items for event calls and in-store
  • Assigned on events and cake deliveries
  • Assigned on food cart installations, dessert / events setup
  • Assists on cakes and desserts assembly (fondant covering, assembly, framework construction etc.) when needed
  • Knowledge on carpentry work is an advantage

Preliminary Job Requirements

  • Preferably male (due to extensive physical work)
  • At least High school graduate, with background / work experience on drink and food preparation
  • Willing to work on field / travel and in varying shifts
  • Willing to work in Southwoods, Binan Laguna
  • With good communication skills
  • Must be proficient in English language
  • With good customer service skills and knowledge
  • Must be a detail oriented person with good level of literacy and numeracy
  • Must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in compliance with company Dress Code Policy

KITCHEN UTILITY / STOCKMAN

Basic Function

Sanitation

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas (storefront / commisary)
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • Regularly clean and maintain equipment, machineries and greasetrap
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
  • Sweep or mop floors.
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam
  • Arrange tables or dining areas (for store assignment)
  • Assist in packing, checking and completing orders; event deliveries, setups and installation, function as server during events or outside service commissions when needed
  • Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately
  • Maintains cleaning and maintenance records

Inventory

  • Monitor, stock, count and check inventory of raw materials and packaging materials
  • Prepares order requests for restocking of raw materials
  • Receive raw materials and packaging materials in good condition
  • Maintains inventory records for raw materials and packaging materials
  • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators
  • Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies, receive and store supplies
  • Uphold appropriate standards of quality and food safety

Prelimenary Job Requirements

  • At least high-school graduate
  • Ability to read, count, write and communicate effectively in English and local language, both written and verbal
  • Must be detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods

ASSISTANT BAKER (PASTRY)

Basic Function

  • Assist in the coordination of all cakes and pastries throughout the shop along with assisting in receiving, storage, issuance, preparation and presentation of these food items.
  • Produce all baked goods for the shop to meet production schedule, including but not limited to: artisan breads, pastries, cakes and other desserts
  • Produce daily production schedule for cake decorations (frostings, fillings, sugar decorations, etc.)
  • Assist production head whenever necessary

Preliminary Job Requirements

  • At least high-school graduate; vocational degree in Baking and Pastry Arts is preferred or relevant culinary/bakery experience in cake shop or bakeshop
  • Knowledge in pastry-making (such as croissants, danish, laminated doughs, etc) and operation of relevant equipment is preferred
  • Must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in compliance with company Dress Code Policy

BARISTA (PART-TIME)

Basic Function

  • Prepares and serves hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment
  • Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
  • Receives and process customer payments
  • Provides assistance or service to the production team like assembling dessert, preparing filling or frosting of desserts or cakes, packing etc. as needed
